There are times when I love blogging and being invited to The Handmade Fair by Rewired PR has definitely been an incredible highlight! This wouldn’t have happened without Brum Bloggers so I have to give a shout out to Ting and Laura for creating such a brilliant community.
The Handmade Fair Exhibitors
There were SO many incredible exhibitors at The Handmade Fair that I couldn’t take photos of all of them, but here are a few of my absolute favourites.
Landpod takes Glamping to the next level with pods and cabins available to hire or purchase.
The one at the Handmade Fair was a cross between the Podfather and the Alfresco pod and I have to admit it was so much comfier than I thought it would be!
With a small table and seating which runs one length of the pod, it would be perfect for a festival or just having in your garden (slightly expensive garden shed, but it’s ace!) I would’ve happily eaten lunch in there!
Brush Lettering with Becki Clark and Molly Makes
If you’ve seen my bullet journal post, you’ll see that I’ve been trying to do some brush lettering.
As soon as I saw Becki Clark and Molly Makes were doing a brush lettering workshop, I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately, they sold out before I had the opportunity to book myself and Laura onto it, but they were kind enough to do a mini one just for us and 2 other guests.
We used Pentel brush lettering pens and it was really tricky at first. Thank goodness for the booklet we were given to help!
It’s going to take a lot of practice but I am SUPER excited to improve and practice. Becki was kind enough to write my name for me to copy and it’s so cool! I’ll keep you all updated on how I’m improving (or failing!!)
When I found out the Betty Etiquette was running a brush lettering masterclass, I was straight on to her social media and I cannot believe how amazing Rebecca is!
I’m so happy that she had a stall and there were Tombow pens to try. I FREAKING LOVE THEM!! It’s such a shame that they’re quite expensive, but they’re definitely an investment. They were even kind enough to give out a free pen* – I’m sure this is the first of many!
I just have to decide which colours to buy first!
When I walked past Midsummer Nightcap‘s caravan, I knew that it had to go on the Gram. Just look at it!!
I really wish I’d had a mocktail but my plan to circle back with scuppered by the other food vendors (I can never say no to a brownie…).
The caravan is bespoke and available to hire so check out their Instagram and send them a message if you have a special occasion coming up. Perfect for weddings!
Cake Up North
Any business that has ‘up north’ in their name is a winner for me and those brownies…
Cake Up North had the biggest, most delicious looking cakes I’ve ever seen, I mean look at that chocolate beast… We had a Malteaser brownie and my eyes actually rolled back because they were just INCREDIBLE. I cannot even describe to you…
It was dense and gooey and chewy with a crispy top and little Malteaser balls and a Malteaser rabbit… It was amazing. We got halfway through and remembered that we hadn’t taken a photo of the brownie!
Wonder In Aliceland
Wonder In Aliceland was the hardest stall to walk past because of all the amazing notebooks! My sister actually had to drag me away because I was about to buy every single notebook they sold.
These would be a perfect gift for an Alice fanatic or even a stationery nerd like me! From frames quotes to buttons, there’s something for everyone and the black and white pleases the blogger in me!
Have you been to The Handmade fair? Please let me know if you have, what was your favourite stall??
